We respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Contact details — name, email, and anything you include in a message or form.

  • Newsletter info — email (and name if you share it).

  • Booking info — details you enter when scheduling a call (e.g., name, email, time zone).

  • Client info — if you work with us, we may keep notes you share in sessions or via messaging (see “Sensitive information” below).

  • Payment info — handled by our payment processor (e.g., Stripe/PayPal). We do not store full card numbers.

  • Technical data — IP address, device/browser info, pages visited, and cookies/analytics to keep the site running and improve it.

Please don’t send medical records or highly sensitive details through forms. This work is somatic education and supportive practice—not psychotherapy or medical treatment.

How we use your information

  • To respond to inquiries and provide the services you request.

  • To send the newsletter you opted into (you can unsubscribe anytime).

  • To schedule calls and sessions.

  • To deliver programs (e.g., share materials, group messages, reminders).

  • To process payments and manage billing.

  • To operate and improve the Site (troubleshooting, analytics, security).

  • To comply with legal obligations (taxes, accounting).

Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)

We process personal data under these bases: consent (e.g., newsletter), contract (to provide services you request), and legitimate interests (site security, basic analytics). Where required, we’ll ask for your consent and you can withdraw it at any time.

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies to make the Site work, and may use basic analytics (e.g., privacy-respecting tools or Google Analytics) to understand traffic. You can control cookies via your browser settings. If we use a cookie banner, your preferences there will be honored.

Sharing your information

We don’t sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us run the business, for example:

  • Email/newsletter platform (to send the monthly letter)

  • Scheduling tool (to book calls)

  • Video platform (e.g., Zoom)

  • Payment processor (e.g., Stripe/PayPal)

  • Document/group tools (e.g., course platform, private group space)

  • Website hosting/analytics/security

These processors only use your data to provide services on our behalf and must protect it.

Sensitive information

You choose what to share. Please avoid sending medical, diagnostic, or crisis information via forms or email. If you’re in crisis, contact local emergency services or a trusted hotline.

Data retention

  • Newsletter: kept until you unsubscribe (then we keep a minimal suppression record).

  • Inquiries: typically 12 months.

  • Scheduling details: typically 24 months.

  • Client records/receipts: up to 7 years (tax/audit/compliance).

  • Website logs/analytics: per tool defaults or as needed for security.

We’ll delete or anonymize data when it’s no longer needed unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (HTTPS, reputable processors, least-access). No method is 100% secure. Please use care with what you share online.

Your choices & rights

  • Unsubscribe: every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.

  • Access/update/delete: email hello@georgia-lynn.com to request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data (subject to legal limits).

  • Consent: where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it anytime.

  • Do Not Track: our Site does not respond to DNT signals.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): we don’t “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by California law. You have rights to know, correct, delete, and limit certain uses; contact us to exercise these rights.

EEA/UK residents (GDPR): you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries that may have different data protection laws.

Children

Our Services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under the age required by your country). If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us to remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective date” shows the latest version. Significant changes will be noted on the Site.
