Christian Spiritual Direction in Atlanta for Therapists & Clinicians
A Non-Clinical Spiritual Direction Space That Complements Therapeutic Work
I offer Christian spiritual direction and small-group contemplative circles in Atlanta and virtually — non-clinical, presence-based spaces for women who are not seeking diagnosis or treatment, but who desire a slower space for reflection, discernment, and meaning-making.
Spiritual direction is a historic contemplative practice rooted in the Christian tradition. My role is not to analyze, interpret, or intervene clinically, but to listen attentively and accompany clients as they notice how God may be moving in their lives.
This work often supports women navigating identity shifts, vocational discernment, faith transitions, grief, and seasons of becoming.
Scope & Boundaries
This work is not psychotherapy.
I do not diagnose, treat, provide crisis support, or offer clinical interventions. When clinical care is needed, I refer out and encourage clients to pursue or continue therapeutic support.
Spiritual direction is non-directive and non-clinical. It is centered on prayerful attention, contemplative listening, and integration — not symptom management.
When This Work May Be Supportive
Spiritual direction or contemplative circles may complement therapy for clients who are:
Stable and emotionally resourced
Engaged in or completing therapy
Navigating spiritual questions, life transitions, grief, identity shifts, or vocational discernment
Seeking integration and reflection rather than problem-solving
Often, clients come when what is needed is spacious presence and attentive listening — not further analysis.
About Group Circles
I also facilitate small contemplative circles (limited to nine women) that are:
Non-clinical
Not therapy or process groups
Not feedback-oriented or advice-driven
Participants are invited into quiet reflection, guided contemplative practice, and optional sharing within a structured, safety-aware container.
Formation & Integrity
I am a Christian spiritual director currently training through Sustainable Faith and receive ongoing supervision to support the integrity of this work.
My approach is also informed by nearly two decades of meditation and yoga practice, as well as trauma-informed and nervous system–aware care, attachment theory, the Enneagram, and Reiki.
These streams shape how I hold space — with attentiveness to safety, embodiment, and spiritual depth.
Collaboration
This work is designed to support — not replace — therapeutic care.
With client consent, I welcome collaborative communication when helpful.
If you believe a client may benefit from a non-clinical spiritual listening space in Atlanta or virtually, you’re welcome to reach out or refer directly.
