The Listening Room

An hour to slow down, turn inward, and listen.

Sunday, August 30 · 7-8 PM ET · Zoom

$25

You want some time just for yourself.

But when you finally get it, you don’t always know what to do with it.

You sit down, and your mind starts running.

The dishes.
The email.
The text.
The appointment you need to schedule.

You check your phone.
You scroll.
You remember your son needs new underwear and add it to your cart.

You tell yourself you’ll relax in a minute.

But instead, you just feel overwhelmed.

And suddenly, the hour you were craving is gone.

You’re so used to responding.

To your kids.
Your partner.
Your work.
Everyone else’s needs.

You’re constantly tracking everyone else.

What they need.
What needs to happen next.
What you need to take care of.

Until one day you realize…

I don’t even know what I want anymore.

A space that’s yours.

This is your hour.

No one else to answer to.
No one else to care for.
No one else’s needs to tend to.

Just space to turn toward yourself.

And maybe part of you is already thinking:

I don’t have time for this.
There’s too much to do.
I should be doing something more productive.

But you’re allowed to take the hour.

You don’t need a reason.
You don’t need to earn it.
You don’t need anyone else’s permission.

You can simply decide that this hour belongs to you.

What happens during our time together?

We’ll arrive.

You’ll have a chance to let the pace of your day settle and arrive exactly as you are.

I’ll guide you inward.

Through a gentle inner listening practice, I’ll help you shift your attention away from everything asking something of you and toward what’s happening within you.

Then we’ll listen.

You’ll have quiet space to notice what’s here—without trying to solve it, fix it, or make anything happen.

And we’ll come back together.

We’ll reflect on what you noticed and, if you want, share with the group. You’re just as welcome to listen as you are to speak.

No pressure. No performing. No getting it “right.”

This isn’t about consuming more content.

You’ve read the books. Saved the posts. Learned your patterns.

This is a chance to actually practice what you already know.

To stop responding for a little while.
To turn your attention toward yourself.
To make space for what’s here.

That might feel unfamiliar.
Maybe even uncomfortable.

That’s what we’re holding space for.

That's it.

Who’s holding the space?

Spiritual Direction & Contemplative Listening for Women in Seasons of Becoming

Hi—I’m Georgia Lynn.

For nearly a decade, I’ve been exploring what it means to come home to myself—and holding space for other women to do the same.

I’m trained in yoga, meditation, Reiki, breathwork, somatic awareness, and spiritual direction.

But more than my training, I bring a grounded presence, a steady voice, and a non-judgmental posture.

I’m comfortable sitting in the unknown. I don’t rush toward answers or try to fix what’s unfolding. I ask questions, listen deeply, and make space for what is emerging.

I know how powerful it can be to have someone walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself, your desires, your questions, and what feels true.

What might you notice in this space?

When you finally get quiet, you might start noticing things you haven’t had much room for lately.

Maybe you realize you’re more tired than you thought.

You notice how much you miss something you used to love.

You feel a desire you’ve been pushing aside.

You notice a question that keeps coming back.

Because what you notice matters. It tells you something about what’s alive in you, what you need, and what might be asking for your attention.

You don’t have to figure your whole life out.

Just get curious. See what you notice. Listen for what’s there.
